  1. Combine Ingredients:
    • In a medium saucepan, combine all your ingredients (carrots, liquid, and seasonings).
  2. Simmer Until Tender:
    • Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
    • Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the carrots are fork-tender.
  3. Uncover & Glaze:
    • Remove the lid and continue simmering, stirring occasionally, for another 5 minutes.
    • Let the liquid evaporate, allowing the carrots to become lightly glazed.
  4. Adjust Seasoning:
    • Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper, keeping in mind that the sugar in the nectar may caramelize quickly.
  5. Serve:
    • Serve immediately, or remove from heat, cover, and keep warm until ready to serve.

Tip:

  • To avoid burning the glaze, keep an eye on the carrots during the last few minutes of cooking!
