Amazing Chicken Burgers
Prepare the Chicken Mixture:
- In a bowl, combine the ground chicken, spinach, roasted peppers, pesto, bread crumbs, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
Form the Patties:
- Divide the mixture into 3 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
Cook the Burgers:
- Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, depending on thickness and the temperature of the pan, or until the juices run clear and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Melt the Cheese:
- Top each burger with a slice of fresh mozzarella.
- Place a bowl or lid over the patties to trap the steam and help melt the cheese.
Serve:
- Once the cheese is melted and the burgers are cooked through, serve them on buns or as desired.
