Artisan Farfalle Pasta With Smoked Salmon and Cream Sauce

Cook the Pasta:

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add 85 grams of pasta and cook according to the package directions (about 7 minutes).
  • Drain the pasta and set aside.

Prepare the Sauce:

  • Heat olive oil in a sauté pan over medium heat. Add chopped shallots and cook for about 2 minutes, until translucent.
  • Add wine and chicken broth to the pan, and cook for 3-4 minutes, allowing the liquid to reduce.
  • Stir in pesto and sun-dried tomatoes. Add salmon and cream, and cook for 1-2 minutes until heated through.

Assemble the Dish:

  • Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce mixture in the sauté pan.
  • Serve immediately.
