Artisan Farfalle Pasta With Smoked Salmon and Cream Sauce
Cook the Pasta:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add 85 grams of pasta and cook according to the package directions (about 7 minutes).
- Drain the pasta and set aside.
Prepare the Sauce:
- Heat olive oil in a sauté pan over medium heat. Add chopped shallots and cook for about 2 minutes, until translucent.
- Add wine and chicken broth to the pan, and cook for 3-4 minutes, allowing the liquid to reduce.
- Stir in pesto and sun-dried tomatoes. Add salmon and cream, and cook for 1-2 minutes until heated through.
Assemble the Dish:
- Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce mixture in the sauté pan.
- Serve immediately.
