Asian Shrimp Stir-Fry
- Cook the Shrimp:
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the shrimp and stir-fry for about 3 minutes, or until fully cooked and pink.
- Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- Stir-Fry the Vegetables:
- In the same skillet, add the red bell pepper and yellow onion.
- Stir-fry for about 2 minutes or until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
- Add Aromatics:
- Add the garlic, ginger root, and crushed red pepper to the skillet.
- Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Combine Shrimp and Sauce:
- Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet.
- Stir in 1/4 cup concentrated broth, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 teaspoon sugar, and 2 tablespoons water.
- Cook for 1 minute, stirring occasionally, until everything is heated through.
- Finish and Serve:
- Remove the skillet from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon sesame oil.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
