Asian Shrimp Stir-Fry

  • Cook the Shrimp:
    • Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Add the shrimp and stir-fry for about 3 minutes, or until fully cooked and pink.
    • Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  • Stir-Fry the Vegetables:
    • In the same skillet, add the red bell pepper and yellow onion.
    • Stir-fry for about 2 minutes or until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
  • Add Aromatics:
    • Add the garlic, ginger root, and crushed red pepper to the skillet.
    • Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Combine Shrimp and Sauce:
    • Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet.
    • Stir in 1/4 cup concentrated broth, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 teaspoon sugar, and 2 tablespoons water.
    • Cook for 1 minute, stirring occasionally, until everything is heated through.
  • Finish and Serve:
    • Remove the skillet from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon sesame oil.
    • Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
    • Serve hot over rice or noodles.
