Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Shallots
Cook the Bacon:
- In a large skillet, add the bacon and cook over medium heat until golden brown and crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside, leaving a little bacon fat in the pan.
Sauté the Shallots:
- Add the shallots to the skillet and cook over medium heat until softened and tender, about 3-4 minutes.
Cook the Brussels Sprouts:
- Add the Brussels sprouts to the skillet and sauté over high heat, stirring occasionally, until the sprouts are golden brown and slightly crispy on the outside, about 5-7 minutes.
Season and Serve:
- Squeeze a bit of fresh lemon juice over the Brussels sprouts and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Crumble the cooked bacon and toss it into the skillet with the Brussels sprouts.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
