Candy Cane Chocolate Marshmallows
- Crush the Candy Canes:
- Place candy canes in a zip-top bag and crush them using the bottom of a glass or a mallet until you have small, fine pieces. Set aside.
- Melt the Chocolate:
- Set up a double boiler (or place a heatproof bowl over a saucepan with simmering water). Add chocolate to the bowl, making sure it doesn’t touch the water, and stir until fully melted and smooth.
- Dip and Coat:
- Dip each marshmallow into the melted chocolate, coating it halfway. Then, roll the chocolate-covered part in the crushed candy canes.
- Set and Chill:
- Place the dipped marshmallows on a sheet of wax paper. Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour, or until the chocolate has completely hardened.
- Store and Serve:
- Transfer to an airtight container for storage. Enjoy on their own, or dunk in a mug of hot chocolate for an extra treat!
