- Dip the Cookies: Using a fork, dip each sugar cookie into the melted candy, ensuring it’s fully coated. Carefully place the dipped cookies onto the lined baking sheet. Allow them to set in the refrigerator for about one hour.
- Roll Out the Fondant: Dust a clean working surface with cornstarch. Roll out your white fondant to your desired thickness.
- Cut the Shapes:
- Use the largest cookie cutter to cut out large circles from the white fondant.
- With a 1.5-inch cookie cutter, cut a hole in the center of each large circle.
- Use your smallest circular cookie cutter to cut out blue fondant circles.
- Cut star shapes from the remaining white fondant.
- Assemble the Decorations:
- Using buttercream as glue, attach the star shapes onto the blue fondant circles.
