Chavrie Stuffed Turkey Burgers

  1. Prepare the cheese:
    • Slice the Chavrie goat cheese log into 6 equal disks.
  2. Make the turkey mixture:
    • In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, egg, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
    • Mix gently until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
  3. Form the patties:
    • Divide the meat mixture into 12 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
    • Take 6 of the patties and gently place a Chavrie disk in the center of each. Press down lightly to secure.
  4. Seal the patties:
    • Place the remaining patties on top of the cheese-filled ones. Press the edges together firmly to seal, ensuring the cheese is fully enclosed. You should have 6 stuffed patties.
  5. Grill the burgers:
    • Preheat your grill over medium-high heat.
    • Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4 minutes, or until the bottom is browned.
    • Flip the burgers and cook for an additional 4 minutes, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  6. Serve:
    • Remove the patties from the grill and place them in burger rolls.
