Chicken Farfalle with Low-Fat Alfredo Sauce
- Cook the Chicken and Pasta:
- Season chicken breasts with a bit of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Sauté over medium heat until fully cooked, then set aside.
- While the chicken is cooking, prepare the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Make the Alfredo Sauce:
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and stir continuously for 1 minute to cook the flour.
- Gradually whisk in the milk, then add salt, pepper, garlic powder, lemon juice, and white wine. Bring the mixture to a boil, whisking constantly.
- Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
