Cyndee’s Neiman Marcus Cake
- Preheat and Prepare the Pan
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan and set aside.
- Make the Cake Batter
- In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, cream the butter and sugar on medium-high speed until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes.
- Lower the speed to medium, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Add the sour cream, vanilla, and lemon zest, scraping down the bowl as needed. Continue mixing until well combined.
- Add the Dry Ingredients
