Easy Onion Cheese Rounds
- Prepare the Oven and Ingredients:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix together the onion, mayonnaise, Parmigiano-Reggiano, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Prepare the Bread:
- Remove the crusts from the bread slices.
- Using a 1-inch round cookie cutter, cut the bread into 32 rounds.
- Arrange the bread rounds on a cookie sheet in a single layer.
- Bake the Bread Rounds:
- Bake the bread rounds in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until golden and crispy. Do not flip the bread rounds during baking.
- Prepare for Broiling:
- Preheat your broiler to high.
- Spread about 1 teaspoon of the onion mixture onto each toasted bread round.
- Broil and Serve:
