Goat Cheese and Fig Crostini
- Preheat the Oven:
- Set the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Prepare the Baguette:
- Brush both sides of the baguette slices with olive oil and arrange them in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the slices are golden brown. Keep a close eye on them to prevent burning.
- Prepare the Cheese Mixture:
- In a small bowl, use a hand mixer to blend ½ cup of cream cheese with ½ cup of goat cheese until smooth and well combined.
- Serve:
- You can either set the blended cheese and fig preserves in separate serving bowls for a “serve-yourself” option, or you can pipe the cheese mixture onto the toasted baguette slices and top with a small spoonful of fig preserves.
