Ground Turkey Stuffed Peppers

  • Prepare the Filling:
    • Cook the rice according to package instructions.
    • Once the rice is cooked, knead it together with the remaining filling ingredients until well combined.
  • Stuff the Peppers:
    • Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
    • Fill each pepper with the prepared rice mixture.
  • Cook the Peppers:
    • Place the stuffed peppers upright in your slow cooker or a large stove-top pot.
    • In a separate bowl, mix together the sauce ingredients.
    • Spoon some of the sauce over the tops of each stuffed pepper and pour the remaining sauce around the peppers.
  • Simmer the Peppers:
    • Cook on medium-low heat for about 1 hour, or until the peppers are tender and the filling is fully heated through.
  • Finish and Serve:
    • Before serving, top each pepper with grated Parmesan cheese and garnish with chopped parsley for presentation.
    • Serve warm and enjoy!
