Marinated Flat Iron Steak

  • Prepare the Steak:
    • Slice the flat iron steak lengthwise into two equal strips.
  • Marinate the Meat:
    • In a large baking pan or Ziploc bag, combine all marinade ingredients.
    • Add the steak to the marinade, ensuring it’s fully coated. Seal the bag or cover the pan and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or longer for more flavor).
  • Prepare the BBQ:
    • Preheat the BBQ to high heat.
  • Grill the Steaks:
    • Once the grill reaches the desired temperature, add the steaks. Cover the grill and cook for 3 minutes on one side.
    • Flip the steaks and cook for an additional 3 minutes on the other side, or until they reach your preferred level of doneness.
  • Serve:
    • Remove the steaks from the grill, let them rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve!
