Refreshing Strawberry Limeade
- Macerate the Berries:
- In a medium bowl, combine the berries and sugar. Let them macerate (sit and soften) for about 30 minutes until they release their juices.
- Make the Berry Puree:
- Transfer the macerated berries to a food processor or blender. Pulse until smooth, forming a vibrant berry puree.
- Assemble the Drink:
- In a large pitcher, fill about 1/3 of the way with ice.
- Pour in 2 parts seltzer water and 1 part lemon-lime soda.
- Stir in a few scoops of the strawberry puree and squeeze in the juice of 1 lime.
- Taste & Adjust:
- Stir the mixture well, then taste. If you want more sweetness or tartness, add extra strawberry puree or lime juice, as needed.
- Prepare the Glasses:
- For a fun presentation, rim your glasses with sugar by running a lime wedge around the rim and dipping it into sugar.
- Add thin lime slices to the pitcher for a decorative touch.
- Serve:
- Pour the berry soda into the prepared glasses, garnish with a lime wedge, and enjoy!
