- In a medium mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, crushed garlic, hot sauce, and cayenne pepper. Stir until well mixed and set aside.
- Prepare the Wings and Slow Cooker:
- Spray the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray.
- Lightly spray the chicken wings with cooking spray as well (this helps lock in flavor and keeps them juicy).
- Coat the Wings:
- Add the wings to the bowl of prepared sauce and toss until they are evenly coated.
- Cook in the Slow Cooker:
- Place the coated wings in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
- Broil for Crispiness:
- Preheat your oven to the broiler setting.
- Carefully transfer the cooked wings to a prepared cookie sheet. Broil for 4–6 minutes, keeping a close eye to prevent burning, until the wings are crispy and slightly charred.
- Serve:
- Remove the wings from the oven and serve immediately with blue cheese dressing and celery on the side.
