Sweet & Spicy White Cheddar Cheese Ball with Apples & Bacon
- Prepare the Apples:
- Slice the apples and place them in a small dish.
- Drizzle with brandy and maple syrup, then set aside to marinate while you prepare the rest of the recipe.
- Cook the Bacon:
- In a large skillet, fry the bacon over medium heat, turning frequently, until crispy (about 5-7 minutes).
- Remove from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Once cooled, crumble the bacon and set aside.
- Make the Cheese Ball Mixture:
- In a food processor, combine cream cheese, Adams Reserve New York Extra Sharp Cheddar, cayenne pepper, and the finely chopped apples.
- Pulse until the mixture is thoroughly mixed and smooth. Set aside.
- Prepare the Bacon Pecan Coating:
- In a mini food processor (or cleaned regular processor), combine pecans, brown sugar, and the crumbled bacon.
