Tasty Easy Meatloaf
Prepare Meatloaf Mixture:
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, sausage, bread crumbs, onion, egg, salt, pepper, cumin, garlic powder, and 1/2 cup tomato sauce.
- Gently mix with your fingers until just combined, being careful not to overmix to keep the meatloaf tender.
Shape and Prepare for Baking:
- Place the mixture in a shallow, oven-safe pan and shape it into a loaf.
Make the Sauce:
- In a small bowl, mix together the remaining tomato sauce, vinegar, sugar, mustard, water, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
Bake:
- Pour the sauce evenly over the meatloaf.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is fully cooked.
- Every 20 minutes, spoon the sauce from the pan over the top of the meatloaf to keep it moist and flavorful.
Finish and Serve:
- Remove from the oven and spoon the sauce over the meatloaf a final time.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
