Tasty Easy Meatloaf

Prepare Meatloaf Mixture:

  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, sausage, bread crumbs, onion, egg, salt, pepper, cumin, garlic powder, and 1/2 cup tomato sauce.
  • Gently mix with your fingers until just combined, being careful not to overmix to keep the meatloaf tender.

Shape and Prepare for Baking:

  • Place the mixture in a shallow, oven-safe pan and shape it into a loaf.

Make the Sauce:

  • In a small bowl, mix together the remaining tomato sauce, vinegar, sugar, mustard, water, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.

Bake:

  • Pour the sauce evenly over the meatloaf.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is fully cooked.
  • Every 20 minutes, spoon the sauce from the pan over the top of the meatloaf to keep it moist and flavorful.

Finish and Serve:

  • Remove from the oven and spoon the sauce over the meatloaf a final time.
