Watermelon Salad with Feta, Walnut & Nigella Seeds
- Prepare the Walnuts:
- Soak walnuts in hot water for 5 minutes. Rinse and cover them with cold water and a pinch of salt. Let stand for a few minutes or up to half a day for a deeper flavor. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare the Watermelon and Cheese:
- Cut the watermelon into cubes or scoop out the red flesh with a spoon and place it in a serving bowl.
- Cube or crumble the feta cheese over the watermelon.
- Assemble the Salad:
- Add the drained walnut pieces to the bowl and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
- Toast the Nigella Seeds:
- Heat a small pan over medium heat and toast the nigella seeds briefly until fragrant.
- Finish and Serve:
